Reverberation Mapping Measurements of Black Hole Masses and Broad-line Region Kinematics in Mrk 817 and NGC 7469

Abstract We present the results from a spectroscopic monitoring campaign to obtain reverberation mapping measurements and investigate broad-line region (BLR) kinematics for active galactic nuclei (AGNs) of Mrk 817 NGC 7469. This was undertaken with Lijiang 2.4 m telescope. The median sampling is 2.0 days 1.0 day detect time lags broad emission lines, including H ? , ? He ii, i both AGNs, Fe ii respect varying AGN continuum at 5100 Å. Investigating relationship between line widths we find that BLR dynamics 7469 are consistent virial prediction. estimate masses central supermassive black holes (SMBHs) accretion rates AGNs. Using data this campaign, construct velocity-resolved lag profiles lines 817, which show almost same kinematic signatures in red wing slightly larger than blue wing. For 7469, only clearly H? H?, very similar 817. These indicate Keplerian motion AGNs seemingly has outflowing components during period. discuss measurements, SMBH mass rates.
